General Information
Protecting your personal information is our priority. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the data practices of OutlawedRP ("OutlawedRP", "we", "us", "our", or "Company"), covering the online website https://outlawedrp.com including all sub-pages, sub-domains, and associated domains thereof, as well as any multiplayer and/or roleplaying modification server for Red Dead Redemption 2 that is developed, operated, maintained, moderated, or otherwise made available by OutlawedRP, including any RedM server operated by us (each a "Server" and collectively with the website, the "Services").
By using the Services, signing in through Steam or Discord, linking accounts, submitting information, joining or attempting to join a Server, contacting us, participating in our community, or otherwise communicating with OutlawedRP, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the processing of your information in the manner described herein. If you do not agree with the terms set forth in this Policy, please do not use the Services or submit any information to us.
THE SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN. IF YOU ARE NOT AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD, YOU MAY NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICES IN ANY MANNER.
We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. Where required by applicable law, or where the change is material, we will provide notice of such change by posting the updated Policy on the Services, announcing the change through the Services, or contacting you using the information associated with your account where appropriate. Any changes will become effective when posted or otherwise notified, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the Services following notice of changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
1. Information Processed
a. User Provided Information
To operate the Services and provide users ("Users") with a reliable, safe, and enjoyable experience, we may collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be associated with you ("Personal Information"). Personal Information may include information that can be used to identify you, contact you, link your accounts, verify your eligibility, provide access to our Servers, or support moderation and security functions.
The Services may collect Personal Information when you provide it to us directly, including when you:
- Sign in to the website using Steam or Discord;
- Link your Steam and Discord accounts;
- Join, request to join, or attempt to connect to a Server;
- Submit a support request, appeal, report, application, or other communication;
- Interact with us through Discord, social media, email, or other community channels;
- Provide information in connection with moderation, whitelist, allowlist, ban appeal, staff, creator, partnership, or community processes.
Depending on how you use the Services, the information you provide or make available to us may include:
- Your email address, where applicable;
- Your Discord account information, such as Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, and public profile information;
- Your Steam account information, such as Steam ID, Steam username, profile URL, avatar, and public profile information;
- Information submitted in support tickets, reports, ban appeals, applications, forms, or correspondence;
- Any other information you voluntarily provide to us.
We do not receive, collect, or store your Steam or Discord password when you authenticate through those services.
b. Information Collected via Third-Party Login and Account Linking
The Services allow Users to sign in using Steam and/or Discord. When you authenticate through either platform, we receive certain information from that third-party provider, depending on the permissions requested, the provider’s systems, and your privacy settings.
When you sign in with Steam, we may receive and process your Steam ID and public Steam profile information. Your Steam ID is used as a primary identifier for RedM server access and to help determine whether your account is permitted to connect to our Server.
When you sign in with Discord, we may receive and process your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, and related public profile information. Your Discord information may be used for account linking, community management, communication, support, moderation, and server functionality.
If you choose to link your Steam and Discord accounts, we store the relationship between those accounts. This allows us to associate your website account, Discord identity, and Steam identity for account management, server access, moderation, support, and community features. You may request unlinking by contacting us using the contact details in this Policy, though unlinking may affect your ability to use certain Services.
c. Information that is Automatically Collected
We and our service providers may automatically collect information when you access or use the Services. This may include cookies, logs, analytics tools, server logs, session data, and similar technologies that help us operate, secure, and improve the Services.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help remember your preferences, maintain login sessions, recognize returning Users, and understand how the Services are used. Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, local storage, logs, analytics scripts, and other tools used to measure and improve performance.
Automatically collected information may include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- Browser type and version;
- Device type and operating system;

This information helps us ensure the Services function properly, maintain account sessions, improve user experience, detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect against malicious activity, enforce our rules and Terms of Service, and monitor the health and security of the Services.
You can prevent or limit the storage of cookies through your browser settings. However, if you disable cookies or similar technologies, some parts of the Services may not work properly, including authentication, account sessions, or linked account features.
d. Device-Identifiable and Technical Information
We may create, collect, or receive device-identifiable information and technical identifiers that are linkable to a browser, device, account, or session. This may include statistical identifiers, device identifiers, browser identifiers, authentication tokens, session identifiers, user agent strings, screen size, language settings, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar technical information.
We may combine such technical information with other Personal Information where necessary to operate the Services, maintain security, prevent abuse, investigate rule violations, or provide support.

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location through the Services unless expressly stated and consented to. |
| 6 | Commercial activity and payment-related information, if applicable | If OutlawedRP offers paid services, donations, subscriptions, priority access, purchases, or other commercial features through third-party payment processors or platforms, we may receive limited transaction-related information such as transaction IDs, purchase status, purchased item, date of purchase, and relevant account identifiers. This information is used to assess applications, manage internal operations, communicate with you, and administer the relationship. |
f. User Generated Content
Certain information, materials, and content that you upload, submit, post, create, or otherwise share through the Services may be collected and stored by OutlawedRP. This may include in-game content, character information, communications, community posts, reports, support tickets, appeals, applications, media, screenshots, clips, and other materials submitted through our website, Discord, Server, or associated systems ("User Generated Content").
User Generated Content may be visible to other Users, staff members, moderators, administrators, or community participants depending on where and how it is submitted. For example, content shared in public community spaces or in-game environments may be visible to other Users. Content submitted privately, such as support tickets or appeals, may be accessible to staff or service providers who assist in operating the Services.
Any Personal Information contained in User Generated Content is subject to this Policy. By submitting User Generated Content, you acknowledge that such content may be processed for the purposes described in this Policy, including moderation, rule enforcement, safety, support, community management, and service improvement.

6. More on Third Parties
While we strive to work with reputable third parties that maintain appropriate privacy and security practices, this Policy does not apply to services operated by other companies or individuals. This includes Steam, Discord, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, linked websites, social networks, community platforms, and any other third-party service that may be accessed through or connected to the Services.
We do not control the privacy policies, security practices, account settings, or data handling procedures of third-party services. Your use of Steam, Discord, and any other third-party service is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings of any third-party services you use in connection with OutlawedRP.
7. More on Cookies and Do Not Track Signals
We use cookies and similar technologies to collect service usage data, maintain sessions, improve functionality, analyse performance, protect against abuse, and personalise or improve the User experience.
Cookies may be used to:
- Keep you signed in;
- Remember account or session preferences;
- Support Steam and Discord authentication flows;
- Improve website functionality;
- Understand how Users navigate the website;
- Detect suspicious activity;
- Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and unauthorised access;

You may disable or limit cookies in your browser settings. Please note that doing so may affect your ability to use certain features, including login, account linking, and session-based functionality.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted, we may not respond to Do Not Track signals in all cases. Where required by law, we will honour legally recognised opt-out preference signals or consent choices.
More information regarding our use of Cookies can be found here
8. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and similar laws that require a legal basis for processing, the Personal Information we process may qualify under multiple legal bases.
Our primary legal bases include the following:

This includes processing identifiers such as your Steam ID, Discord ID, Server user identifiers, login information, and account information to authenticate you, link your accounts, provide access to the website, allow connection to our RedM Server, and deliver functionality you request.
Steam ID processing is particularly important because your Steam ID may be required to identify you and allow or restrict access to our RedM Server.
b. Legitimate Interests
We have a legitimate interest in processing information where necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and protect the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
Our legitimate interests include:
- Operating and maintaining the website and Servers;
- Authenticating Users and managing accounts;
- Linking Steam and Discord accounts where requested;
- Providing support and responding to communications;
- Moderating community spaces and Server activity;
- Enforcing Terms of Service, Server rules, and community standards;
- Preventing fraud, cheating, abuse, spam, harassment, malicious activity, and unauthorised access;
- Protecting the safety and integrity of the Services, Users, staff, and community;
- Generating analytics to improve the Services and User experience;
- Maintaining backups and protecting against data loss or security incidents.
c. Consent
We may rely on your consent where you voluntarily provide optional information, opt into optional communications, accept non-essential cookies where required, or choose to link accounts where such linking is optional.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
d. Legal Obligation
We may process Personal Information where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, tax requirements, accounting obligations, regulatory requests, or lawful requests from public authorities.
e. Vital Interests and Public Safety
In limited circumstances, we may process or disclose information where necessary to protect the vital interests, personal safety, or security of Users, staff, community members, or the public.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, including if you are located in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy rights, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information.
These rights may include:
a. Right of Access

b. Right of Correction or Rectification
You may request that we correct, amend, or update Personal Information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
c. Right of Deletion
You may request deletion of your Personal Information. In some cases, we may be unable to delete certain information if it is necessary for legitimate business purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, moderation history, or enforcement of our rules and agreements.
d. Right to Restrict Processing
You may request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Information in certain circumstances.
e. Right to Object
You may object to our processing of your Personal Information where the processing is based on legitimate interests, unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or the processing is necessary for legal claims.
f. Right to Data Portability
Where applicable, you may request a copy of certain Personal Information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
g. Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we rely on consent to process your Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
h. Right to Opt Out
Where applicable, you may have the right to opt out of the sale of Personal Information, sharing of Personal Information for targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. OutlawedRP does not sell your Personal Information and does not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
i. Verification of Requests
We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to a request. You must provide sufficient information for us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or that you are authorised to act on that person’s behalf.
Information provided for verification will only be used to verify and respond to the request.
j. Appeals and Complaints
If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal our decision depending on your jurisdiction. To appeal, contact us using the details below and state that your message relates to an appeal of a privacy rights request.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is generally the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You may also contact your local data protection authority if you are located in the EEA or another applicable jurisdiction.
To exercise your rights, contact us at:
Email: [email protected]
10. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available to you under applicable law.
Unless permitted by law, we will not:
- Deny you Services solely because you exercised a privacy right;

- Impose penalties because you exercised a privacy right;
- Provide a different level or quality of Services because you exercised a privacy right;
- Suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of Services because you exercised a privacy right.
However, certain information may be necessary to provide the Services. For example, if you request deletion of your Steam ID or account link information, we may be unable to provide access to the RedM Server or account-linked features.
11. Security of Your Personal Information
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.
These measures may include access controls, authentication systems, security monitoring, restricted staff access, backups, logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet, online service, gaming server, or wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that:
- There are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet and online services that are beyond our control; and
- The security, integrity, and privacy of information exchanged between you and OutlawedRP cannot be absolutely guaranteed.
We recommend that you also take steps to protect your own information, including:
- Protecting your Steam and Discord accounts;
- Using strong, unique passwords;
- Enabling two-factor authentication where available;
- Logging out when using shared devices;
- Keeping your device secure;
- Avoiding sharing personal information publicly in community or in-game spaces.
12. International Transfers
Our Services are operated from the United Kingdom. Your Personal Information may be stored, transferred to, accessed from, or processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers. These safeguards may include using service providers subject to appropriate contractual obligations, relying on adequacy decisions where applicable, using standard contractual clauses, or relying on another lawful transfer mechanism.
Given that the Services are globally accessible, there may be times where your data is transferred across jurisdictions in order to provide, maintain, secure, or improve the Services.
We will not transfer Personal Information across jurisdictions unless:
- You have provided consent where required;
- The transfer is necessary to provide the Services;
- The recipient is subject to appropriate safeguards or obligations; or
- The transfer is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
13. Email Communications
From time to time, we may contact you by email or other available communication methods for purposes including service announcements, account notices, support responses, security alerts, policy updates, community updates, or other communications related to the Services.
If we send optional marketing or promotional communications, you may opt out of such communications by using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send important service-related, security-related, legal, or account-related messages.
14. Merger or Sale
The information collected pursuant to this Policy, including Personal Information, may be considered an asset of OutlawedRP.
In the event that OutlawedRP is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer of operations, or other change of ownership transaction, your Personal Information may be transferred or assigned to the acquiring, successor, or resulting entity as part of that transaction.
Where required by applicable law, or where reasonably practical, we will take reasonable steps to notify Users of such transfer, including by posting notice through the Services, sending an email where we have appropriate contact information, or providing another form of notice.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Information remains subject to protections consistent with this Policy or that you are notified of any material changes to how your information will be handled.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal obligations, technology, data practices, or operational needs.
When we update this Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Where required by law or where changes are material, we will provide additional notice, which may include posting a notice on the Services, announcing the change through community channels, or contacting you using information associated with your account.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
